Introduction

HappyHorse Study (happyhorse.study) is a free educational website offering horse calculators and study guides. We collect as little personal data as possible. This policy explains what we do collect and why.

Information We Collect

1. Calculator inputs stay on your device. Everything you type into our tools — ages, dates, measurements, costs — is processed entirely in your browser. It is never sent to or stored on our servers.
2. Account information (optional). If you choose to create an account, we store the name and email address you provide. Browsing the site and using every tool works fully without an account.
3. Usage data. Standard server logs and, if enabled, privacy-respecting analytics: pages visited, approximate region, browser type. Used only to understand what content is helpful.
4. Cookies. We use a small number of functional cookies to remember your language and theme preference. No advertising cookies are set at this time; if that changes, this policy will be updated first.

• Respond to questions and feedback
• Detect and prevent abuse

Data Sharing

We do not sell personal information. Data is shared only with infrastructure providers that host the site (e.g., Cloudflare), under their respective privacy terms, or when required by law.

Data Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Account credentials, where used, are stored hashed. No internet transmission is 100% secure, but we keep our surface area deliberately small.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you. If you have an account, most of this is available in your account settings.
